How I Rank Blogspot On Google’s First Page In 30 Days
How I Rank Blogspot On Google’s First Page In 30 Days
Damn! Here’s how I rank blogspot on Google’s first page in 30 days.
A whole lot of experiments and in-depth surveys eventually have gone through it.
I can tell that why is so hard to rank using blogspot.
But that shouldn’t get you so confused yet you can still do a lot better.
Yes, you can.
Even with the series of Google’s algorithm changes that can’t still stop you from ranking high in search results.
Well, here’s the thing.
If you’re gonna rank you have to learn how to do copy blogging and SEO writing.
In fact, both elements can double up your search for organic traffic over time.
With the effective use of these SEO elements, your blogspot blog would forever attract relevant visitors who’re ready to read and become your loyal fans.
Impressive!
But they’re still a whole lot more to do in ranking high on Google.
You know how Google algorithm changes almost all the time.
Which will prompt you to make manual changes into how you do SEO on blogspot.
So, here’s the pinch.
For the keyword “blogspot SEO” a short tail keyword hardly to rank high for, I ranked my blog post in position number 6.
For the search term “blogspot SEO Guide” where competitive websites rank for, I dominate and rank in position 2 in search results for that exact query.
And so many more.
- Then how did that happened?
In this guide, I will show you the dominant tricks and tips to rank your blogspot blog on Google just in a few months.
So, are you ready to stay for the complete checklists?
If so, let’s dive in.
Here is how to rank blogspot on Google’s first page in 30 days.
- Implement topical relevance in your blogspot post
- Hack on a resource pillar content
- Fix URL
- Hack on blogger On-page SEO
- Leverage on historical optimization
Case 1 Implement topical relevance in your blogspot post
Well, from the moment we start having shape psychology of how a few bloggers dominant the SERP that way we can as well learn from their ways.
Before I did rank it takes me a lot of experimental cases to undergo for dominance.
I never knew what actually it’s needed to rank high in SERP.
I mainly published content much as you.
Most times, turning attention to organic search results was mostly the prettiest thing I know I could offer myself at that time.
I checked the organic results always, yet I couldn’t find any of my web page rankings.
It was like hell.
But I didn’t make that a thing that should get me down quickly.
In so doing, I study the organic search results for almost two months.
Making analysis into how to dominate the SERP.
I was a bit surprised by what I see over time.
Which I eventually returned as an idea.
- And here’s it.
I probably found out that there’re slim chances ranking with a blogspot blog.
Well, I didn’t mind that but also I barely see publishers writing a comprehensive guide on blogspot or blogger.
In fact, publishers barely published a post on blogspot.
At times, whenever I typed a search query, for instance, “how to rank blogger on Google” I clearly see there’s no always an exact match for that query.
Rather most web pages ranking for that search term did that based on semantics.
The whole thing let me down which I propagate into finding my SEO opportunity.
This eventually prompts me to start writing about blogspot, blogger, and Google blogger.
Because of that, I realized at the time I hack on these tricks and tips I begin to experience changes in organic search traffic and position ranking in search results.
Although, I don’t just write about blogspot but also for other keywords.
But my actual aim was to rank evenly well for those keywords.
I know it can rather take me a little more time ranking for multiple keywords.
Because the longer it stays, the better the chances of driving more traffic foot to your blogspot blog.
Likewise, I know all that already.
- But, this is the thing – Topical Relevance
How do you insert that into your content or what do you think is all about?
Topical relevance is the process you clustering your content for the purpose of covering every bit on that topic.
See, those web pages I rank for in Google’s first page happens to get there in a few days.
And what makes that happens so quick it’s indeed the topical relevance.
That matters now to blogspot SEO.
It just got to show why the clustering of a topic may boost your search rankings overnight.
To rank high for a short while implementing topical relevance with search intent would probably drive you that insane traffic.
And make you rank above your folds.
You may not have an understanding of what I just said yet.
But, here’s the picture.
In case you finally think of leveraging topical relevance into your content then you may likely want to do it this way.
Here are the elements into SEO rankings
- Resource pillar content.
- Semantic keywords.
- Silo bullet points.
- The cluster of anchor text.
- 10x content pillar.
- Search intent matching.
- Infographics and Video hooks – really necessary here.
The combination of these elements into a single post can help boost your dominance for authority.
Take for instance, if I had the wish to rank for a search query “blogger SEO”.
The first thing I will likely have to do is to visit the SERP and check the competitor’s link profile by doing keyword research.
So whatever SEO tool you chose make sure you make the process relevant enough.
Then if already I have started leveraging one of those tools that means I must have to focus on the web pages already ranking for the keyword “blogger SEO”.
But, do you know what?
I won’t seem so bothered to just get into studying the competitor’s link profile.
All I just needed to do is to see the clustering of their blog posts and that’s all.
With that, I will have to look for other options to make mine 10x better than theirs.
That way, I will have to build on a content pillar(cover a broad topic in-depth).
Why because I’m not just thinking of ranking only for the main keyword.
But several other related search terms.
If so, I will have to leverage search intent and semantics keywords.
Without probably stuffing them.
If that is the case let’s say I wanted to churn and rank for the keyword “blogspot SEO”.
So let me explain what I did to rank for that query.
My main objective was to target the keyword “blogspot SEO guide”.
Although I included it as a short URL for the blog post.
But, here’s the kicker.
In the body text of the blog post, I make sure I naturally optimize for multiple keywords.
And why that happens was that targetting only the main keyword in SERP.
Isn’t enough to get that insane traffic.
Your blog post must at least rank for multiple keywords in order to attract enough visitors.
Absolutely, you would see those web pages ranking aren’t stayed up to 3 months yet.
So there’re many chances they would rank for keywords I never optimize for.
Case 2 Hack on resource pillar content
I would likely use the Moz case study on how they rank #1 for a high volume keyword in under 3 months as a typical example.
Here’s what they did, you know it’s not justifiable enough ranking for keywords people rarely search for.
Keywords that trigger “one searcher” per month.
That really can be suck.
But Moz eventually settled on a keyword with high volume traffic about “9,900” searches each month per keyword planner.
And from Moz’s assumption, they actually knew 30% of clicks rightly emanated from the first result in search result lists.
Mathematically, for a keyword of that volume, this would translate into over 3,000 visitors per month for the web page claiming the top spot.
Probably settling for less competitive keywords would be a smart decision for new and still growing blogs.
You’ll definitely find it so hard to dominate when trying to rank for a high keyword difficulty score.
It might really take you years to rank there.
Unless you hack on this.
Look for a keyword with a difficulty score of 40 that can still be okay to rank well for.
But make sure it has a high volume of traffic per month.
Then stumble upon to the search results shortlists those keywords you found there.
Better still, you can leverage latent semantic indexing.
To figure out related terms relevant to each other.
After all, have a realistic goal of creating something even better than anything in the search result lists.
To achieve that, I recommend you to start revealing every article ranking for that search term and try to add enough resource pillar content that would earn you that top spot.
And here’s what Moz actually did.
After they decided on that they went further to optimize for every single keyword related to that exact query.
Meaning, they didn’t just optimize for the main keyword intent only but also optimize for other related terms that could drive another traffic foot to their landing page.
But the basic thing they did to achieve their content marketing goal is that they make sure they tapped all the keywords in their H1 header.
Afterward, they created a resource pillar content describing what exactly is sales management.
Hacking on related keywords in the header section explaining the terms searchers also are pretty interested in.
All that shows the relevance of the page for a single blog post.
It just goes to show content marketing indeed is far beyond just writing but analyzing and structuring the content in-depth.
I think that would be the only way you rank your blogspot highly on Google.
You can just expect a thin content should rank to Google’s first page for high traffic keyword.
That can’t just happen.
So maybe repurposing might be your thing for better search rankings.
Case 3 Fix URL
If you’ve been into content creation for a while now.
You’ll have come across or realized that the use of short keywords in the permalinks(the URL link) can easily let you rank highly for the search term you’re busy optimizing for.
Here’s the hint.
Moz has eventually studied why is so important to make a blog post URL a short one.
In my own case, take for instance, for the keyword “blogspot SEO guide”, the URL that was implemented over there has to be in a short form.
Same for the keyword “how to rank blogger on Google”.
They eventually all rank why because short URLs can act as short-tail keywords to your content.
I mean short tail keyword URLs enable search engine bots to understand your main keyword intent.
For instance, if you’re gonna rank for a head term “blogspot” that means every inch on that content would be all about “blogspot”.
So in order to make it easier to rank fast and high.
You can use the same keyword in your permalink tab.
Instead, you leveraging a long tail keyword.
Case 4 Hack on blogger on-page SEO
This can be so tricky but let me as well direct you to this guide here “On-page SEO for blogspot“.
Well, doing SEO on blogger can really take a lot of efforts sometimes it can be so hard to achieve your content marketing goals.
But, here’s something you never think about.
There’s a lot of algorithm changes, the SERP features and how Google reads content with E.A.T has changed compared to the past years.
This means, changing the way you blog can make a huge difference.
You know SEO isn’t about the years stayed anymore but the years you keep improving.
You have to keep improving your blogging skills, stay updated, and change your content strategy to suits your content marketing goals.
More importantly, you have to change anti-clockwise with the industry.
Now, I think this guide on ” how SEO is changing on blogspot” would be of help to you.
Things are really changing with SEO making our stay even more relevant to our approaches.
Letting us stay on our toes and help in increasing our drive for success.
And that really matters.
To pull out the trigger now you must understand this.
- Relevance – Authority.
Search engines just need to find and analyze your content quality score before you can be given the chance of ranking high in search results.
Google doesn’t just rank content anymore they’re getting even better each day.
So staying outdated might really hit your SEO efforts.
With the SERP features and why you can no longer see double web pages for the one claiming the featured snippets anymore.
This really has poised a lot of question marks for content marketers.
Although there’s no sufficient idea yet if it actually the featured snippets spot claiming the most clicks or the web page at the first position.
Well, in that case, I think this guide here will walk you on how to optimize featured snippets on blogger.
Case 5 Leverage on historical optimization
Here’s the thing about historical optimization.
Historical optimization is the process of renewing the freshness score of nearly outdated content.
Maybe you don’t get that yet.
Let’s say you published a blogger post nearly 2 years ago and such a web page still performs well in search results.
At least you actually don’t want to lose any search traffic you received through the web page.
Then boosting your content freshness score may help.
You repurpose that content adding new insights and trends for your readers making sure the web page goes live like a brand new page.
Conclusion
Now, I believe you have an in-depth understanding of SEO on blogspot.
Absolutely, if you fail to advance you might get kick out of the journey so quickly.
